Ok. This post specially regarding my experience stay at Hotel Putra Muda at Chow Kit with my family. Ohhh I will may be saying bad in this post..Man, i was so sicked with them, totally mad with the hotel services. And customer have a right to complain. So, please bear with me. If i want, i believe i can bring this complain to bahagian pengguna. Arasso?
The hotel is a budget hotel. what to expect for budget hotel... if you think about budget hotel, do you agree that the figures about them are something like simple and small room with no breakfast, quite and maybe with bad maintanence. Yeah... the room is soooo simple and small. The room just enough for bed, a table and a chair. And the telivision was hang on the ceiling. So, you definitely get shoulder and neck pain watching television unless you lay down on bed. I stayed in family room. Unfortunately the room just near to main road and we can hear the sound of bus engines that park along the road just outside the hotel. Man, we totally cant sleep well.
That all are not the big matter.. as i said, what do you expect for budget hotel? The big point here are two things: unfriendly and worst services and safety. The receptionist are not professional at all, welcomed resident with unwelcome face and the way they talk to resident/customer are not professional. They dont look like know the ethics of hospitality. Why did i say that? That was my experience ok. I booked the hotel weeks before we plan to stay there, and i already pay for the room. But we even cant open the door. I asked them to check the door and they simply told me how to use the card. I told them the problem is not to the card but i think the door since they are green light blinks when i put the card into the slot. But there are no beep sound. If the card is proble, of course red light will be appeared. See? I go up and down twice, telling them about the problem till other resident who used to stay in the same room help me. He faced the same problem before. Surprisingly, the receptionist seemed like not to believe us. haha.. what the #$#$% till she asked us to wait until they repair the door. I asked for another room. At first they told me, rooms already full. Second time i asked them to get a new room after almost half an hour waiting for the maintanence, they said they cant give us another room since they already check us in for that room. Again... #$%%% every time i asked about how long should we wait, and will us face the same problem after that??? they said... 'no. it wouldnt take much time. just 15minutes. then you can enter the room freely.' remember, her words and the way she say wasnt as politely as what i stated here ok.
Now im totally mad. how can they give us the room that cant be opened? They should check the room first, before give them to custmor. dont just think to get money from us, although u're a budget hotel... you should maintain your services.
Seemed like they lost word (aiyaaaa... they totally dont want hear anymore from me laaaa) one of them asked a guy (i dont know if he is a staff there or not. from what he said to me, he is outsider from other hotel) to open another room using master key, for us. It was open. But, cant be locked from inside. the window also cant be locked. Aiyaa... what happen to our safety then? You know what time the maintainer that repairing the door earlier complete his task? About 8pm and above. i dont know the exact time since i checked between 7.50, he still struggle doing his work. And when we out for dinner at 8.45pm, the door already close.
Ok... out of 10, i give them minus 10 (-10). This is the worst service i ever face... i used to stay in budget hotel and chalet before and their services and rooms are much better.
