Super Junior tears at 2011 MAMA

Stirring with elation at their big haul of three awards (Album of the Year - Mr Simple, Best Male Group and Singapore's Choice for Most Favourite Korean Artist) at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, the band members of Super Junior were more than delighted to field questions from the press at the post-awards press conference held at Marina Bay Sands last night.

When the MC stated that it is time for the last question, leader Lee Teuk spoke up and said, "We have a lot of time still. Let's continue." His fellow member, Eunhyuk, also told reporters "if you have any more questions, please ask me on Twitter" when it was time for them to leave the room.

With three new trophies going into their expanding collection of awards, the boys said that they plan to "display it in their company" and joked, "If it is real gold, we will break it apart. (Laughs)"

Speaking of the tears they shed on stage when they received the Album of the Year award, and when they first received the Best New Artiste award five years ago, they said that they cried then because they had thought of the hardships they went through before debut.

"It is different this time, because these are tears of happiness. We are happy with what we have accomplished thus far," quipped Lee Teuk.

Sung Min added, "I almost cried when Lee Teuk gave the acceptance speech because I feel thankful for having these members with me. They are always giving support to one another; this is definitely tears of happiness.

The leader talked about spending "a beautiful time in his 20s" with Singapore fans and expressed their sincere thanks towards all the support that fans have given the group during their ups and downs, especially when "no one knew of us" and "acknowledged" them during their early days.

He also gave a shoutout to members who were not able to attend 2011 MAMA due to other reasons and Shindong, Yesung and Kyuhyun were seen trying to fight back the tears

The 28-year-old added, "Thank you for everything. This might be our last awards ceremony before we start our army enlistment. This is an unforgettable award ceremony. We will continue to work hard in future. Thank you everyone!"

Super Junior's Leeteuk & Eunhyuk have annouced to depart from Sukira

Oh no... im reasy to let Leeteuk leaving Sukira as he will enter a military training next year. But i've never imagine that Eunhyuk also will follow his footstep. Report said that Eunhyuk also will be depart from Sukira and this coming December 4 will be the final episode with this 2 flower boys.

After five long years of DJing for KBS Cool FM's "Super Junior's Kiss the Radio," Super Junior's Leeteuk and Eunhyuk have announced that they will be departing from the radio program to better commit to their other schedules.

The two began DJing for the program back in August 21, 2006, and have maintained their positions for the past five years and three months. The radio show to air on December 4 will mark their final episode on the show.

According to information disclosed by the producers on November 30, the reason for their departure lies in their busy individual schedules. Filling in for the two will be fellow Super Junior members Sungmin and Ryeowook.

Groups like SNSD, Infinite, and other idol stars hoped to nab a seat in the DJ position for the show, but producers were adamant about keeping with the "Super Junior" aspect of the show and personally requested for Sungmin and Ryeowook to fill their absence.

Still, despite their busy schedules, Leeteuk and Ryeowook have made a long run thanks to their love for the radio program. They've earned the title of "longest idol DJ" with their exit, as well as the love of teens and young adults.

My summary regarding 2011 MAMA

So much gimics tonight. All performances were great. And the performances i love the most of course.... my no.1 kpop idol~~> SUPER JUNIOR!!! Just finished watching Super Junior's performance on 2011 Mnet Asian Music Award. They performed Mr. Super Clone haha... its a medley of their 3 hottest songs; Superman, Mr. Simple & Sorry Sorry. Seriously no joke... i can feel the energy! From SJ, from their big group of back dancers that suddenly appear in the middle of Sorry Sorry performance... and i can feel the energy from the crowds as well. SUPERB! You guess what, Siwon showed his body to show the world how hot he is hehe... I love to share the video of their performance or the whole award night if i could. Unfortunately, the video i had recorded was not in good quality. If you can see my picture above, i believe you can imagine how bad my video quality is. So i cant share the video here... just keep them as my copy. Hey, but i know all of you out there know how to find the video. If you want it fast, find the Mnet channel on youtube or go through to Mnet website to watch the replay. You could also watch the last yeard Mnet award ^^

But, i like to say here... about the "Best Dance Performance-Male Group". If im not mistaken... if my tv didnt made a mistake.... can anyone tell me why Beast won that category? I didnt watch the replay again from Mnet website... just watching through tv... and believe my eyes and ears heard the right name. Emmm... and now i got totally confused. I followed the poll of that category... i thought it does lead by Super Junior, followed by TVXQ and SNSD. What happened... or im wrong about it??? 'Song of the year' and 'Artist of the year' also goes to 2NE1 and SNSD, respectively. How could the artist with less than 10% won the category? What happen to our votes? I dont blaming to anyone or saying that they didnt deserved for winning those awards but i just need some explanation on what exactly is going on here. Either MAMA dont allow the same idols grab all the awards or is there something i do not know? I guess i got something missing... as i thought the vote has been closed last November 25th. I really really really wanna know the reason. Ok2, i will ask my friends very soon. Anyway, congrats to all the winners ^^

Hey, anyway congrats to our Super Junior for won the Singapore Choice award for Korean Artist beside other award they had won such 'Best Male Group' and 'Album of the year'. Chukka yo (^^,) I didnt see the 2 categories of them on MAMA voting website. Its only for Singaporean for Singapore Choice i thought. Yeah... you got 3 awards in total. and you had performed a great medley!!! ELF will keep their support for you Super Junior. That is much more important. Emm.. as we know, Super Junior will heading to Malaysia soon, i guess, for MO.A Concert this Saturday. Dont worry Malaysia, i guess you may watch all 9 of them XDD

Ohno Satoshi's special drama. Who will play his partner???

Emmm... long time didnt watch his drama since the last time I watched the Kaibutsukun Special dorama. Now, he will back for the special drama entitled 'Mou Yuukai nante Shinai' and Yui or Aragaki Yui will play the heroine role in that drama which will be aired on 3rd January next year (Fuji TV).

As reported by others; This special drama is a comedy, based on a novel by Higashikawa Tokuya who is known as the author of “Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de”, and Aragaki will play a rich college girl whose father is the boss of racketeers named, “Hanazono Erika.” She suggests a freeter (will be played by Ohno) a fake kidnapping, and tries to chisel some money out of her father in order to pay a doctor’s fee for her half-sister (different father) who needs a kidney transplantation.

Aragaki was saying before the shoot started, “I’m nervous since Ohno-san is many-talented person, but our dialogue will be main for the drama, so I would like to enjoy it.” However, when the shoot started on the 28th, it seems like she felt little better as she said, “We (Ohno and her) started communicating with each other little by little, so I think it will be a fun drama that suits for new year.”

Previously, Ohno will play the main character — a freeter named “Tarui Shotaro” who can’t forget his childhood dream of being a hero. He finds himself planning a fake kidnapping after he receives a request from the daughter of a boss of racketeers (played by Kitaoji Kinya).

According to the production team, “Shotaro” is a character that touches a chord with everyone, and you can’t help but cheer for him because of his bright, but random personality. They emphasized that Ohno was the only one who could play this role amongst other actors in his generation.

Ohno commented, “I hope this drama will be a work that helps viewers feel, ‘What do I want to do now’, and ‘What do I like and wish for now’ in the beginning of 2012. [I hope] that this drama encourages them, and that could be the trigger to take a better step forward. I will do my best in acting.”

The drama is based on the popular novel written by Higashikawa Tokuya, who’s known for being the author of “Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de.” Since fellow Arashi member Sakurai Sho (29) stars in the drama adaptation of “Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de”, Ohno will taking the baton from him in this second Arashi-Higashikawa collaboration.

SNSD, Super Junior, 2NE1 and Kim Hun Joong among stars attending 2011 MAMA

SINGAPORE: Those who haven't gotten their tickets to the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) might want to get a move on and pick them up, because some of the biggest names in K-pop have confirmed their attendance to the prestigious event!

Korean girl groups SNSD, 2NE1, Miss A and super sexy soloist Hyun-A will be attending the 2011 MAMA at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on November 29.

Fans of boy bands Super Junior, BEAST and Bae Yong Joon's charismatic protege Kim Hun Joong had better get ready to scream, because they too will be turning up for the awards ceremony.

The revelation that SM Entertainment's top acts Super Junior and SNSD will be attending the 2011 MAMA is especially significant, as it confirms that the K-pop giant and Mnet, one of the biggest players in the Korean music industry, have truly buried the hatchet after butting heads over various issues in recent years.

The event's co-organiser MediaCorp VizPro said on Thursday that these are just some of the heavy-hitters heading to Singapore for the 2011 MAMA and revealed that they will be releasing more information on the list of attendees as the massive event draws near.

The 2011 MAMA will kick off with a red carpet event at 4pm, followed by a four-hour programme that will feature performances by several popular K-pop acts.

Seated tickets to this star-studded event have already been sold out, but mosh pit tickets are still available.

The 2011 MAMA originally began as the Mnet Music Awards in 1999 and has been one of the biggest events on the Korean music calendar for the past decade.

It was rebranded the MAMA in 2010, and was held outside Korea for the first time in Macau before coming to Singapore in 2011.
